Planning Your 2-week Weight Loss Program
Are you planning to lose weight in 2 weeks and achieve the ideal weight you always wanted? Then, you should put some active planning into your weight loss program before you start so you will definitely have a better chance of reaching your weight goal.
Here are four important tips:
1) Know how much weight you want to lose. This is very important because unless you have a solid goal in your mind then it makes it more difficult to achieve your 2 weeks weight loss plan.
2) Get professional advice before starting on any fat loss program for important safety and health concerns. If you are obese then you must absolutely do this! If you have any health problems, it is essential to discuss things with your doctor before starting any weight loss program as significant changes in nutrition and exercise can place additional loads on your body.
3) Request support of your friends and family to help you with your goal to lose weight. You should understand that it is very important to distance yourself from negative people and those who do not really offer you any support because there are always people around who do not want to see you improve in your life and reach your goal to lose weight.
Let the world see that you can lose weight in just 2 weeks!
4) Take a photo of your body at the start of your weight loss program. Stand in front of a mirror and look at your body while visualizing how you want it to look. Usually, we often forget how much progress we make. But with a photo, you can look back and it offers you the encouragement you need when there are times you feel like the going might be a little more tough.

Can anyone relate to this?
Every week we hear of some fantastic pill or chocolate tasting shake that will hold the key to all our quick-fix plans to shed those extra pounds.
I for one have been on a diet since I can remember. Every year, after Christmas, I sign up to yet another weight loss programme; be it ‘Weight Watchers’ or ‘Slimming World’, you name it I have tried them all. I end up spending a fortune to stand on a set of scales and be told that I have put on weight again; and as I stand there and I swear that I have stuck to the diet rigidly when the Weight Watchers Leader is asking me what went wrong (not letting on that I have had a wonderful weekend of food debauchery); or occasionally I have lost weight: which is normally because I haven’t eaten or drunk anything since breakfast and almost faint with hunger as I leave the room.
Now every so often there is something that is brought on to the market that will solve all our fat problems! Something that means you can have your cake and eat it quite literally – I for one, in the past, have been drawn into its advertising spell and have spent a fortune on some magic potion that is going to solve all my problems. I sit there and read, with glee, how this wonder pill is going to help me shed up to 6lbs a week. Great! I think to myself; I will only need to buy two weeks supply to lose a stone! There I go again handing over £50 for 2 weeks’ supply of ‘kid myself pills’ and trust that for the next few days that these pills are the answer to all my prayers. Needless to say all I do is sit on the toilet for most of the day after I have eaten and feel quite sick and angry that I have been drawn into another ‘rip off’ yet again!
Why do we do this to ourselves? There are far too many ‘too good to be true’ potions on the market and not one of them work. They draw you in with pictures of gorgeous women who claim to have taken them and have ended up looking like a supermodel at the end of it. It just isn’t going to happen. We would all love to look like Keira Knightley or Cheryl Cole however, they can afford to have someone cook them low fat meals every time they eat or are able to hire a personal trainer to keep them fit and healthy; the only way us normal folk can to do it is to eat less food and do more exercise.
These ‘too good to be true’ potions will only eat in to your £s and at a push help you with a bit of water retention. Take it from someone who has tried them all: they just don’t work. I’ll keep on with the ‘Weight Watchers’ which, if I’m serious, is a bit of a social event for me which I enjoy: and it keeps me on the straight and narrow (which is what I’ll be in a few months time!!) If it says that it is ‘too good to be true’ it usually is.
I am happy with myself and the story is not about me being on WW… It is about ‘Too Good To Be True’ potions`!!

Why do you bother going on diets if you have no intention of sticking to it? Believe it or not WW does work. I lost 60 pounds on WW but you have to be in the right state of mind otherwise it is a waste of money. Maybe just be happy in yourself first.

I absolutely relate to that. I went through years of trying to follow the latest fad, i even looked up the illegal slimming pills (!) and went up and down in weight accordingly. They all work if you can stick to them, but then who wouldn’t loose weight if you can stick to low cal diets etc. The trouble is, that the only thing that really works is what you can stick to forever! and we all know what it is, healthy eating and more exercise yada yada yada! But I totally know where you are coming from.
