How do I get off of my weight loss plateau…..been stuck here for 3 weeks…HELP?
Last year at this time I weighed 232 pounds and today I weigh 200 so I did manage to lose 32 pounds this past year but now I seem to be stuck at 200 and just can’t lose anymore. I eat right,4 oz. of meat,8 glasses of H2o a day and green veg. every day. I keep my calories under 2000 and I do cardio for 30 minutes a day 5 days a week at least plus I strength train for 15-30 minutes every other day. I have lost inches….actually I started this workout routine in January of this year and have lost a total of 7 1/2 inches over all my body since then. My goal is to get back down to 190 which happens to be my pre-pregnancy weight (my girl will be 2 next month).If I were to get under that weight it would be a wonderful bonus but right now I just want those last 10,stubborn pounds GONE! I have tried phentermine and hate it,it works to aid in weight loss but causes some crazy bad side effects. Please don’t tell me diet and exercise ALONE are the only ways because im not interested in hearing that. I need advice from someone who knows what im talking about and can suggest a diet meal plan or a natural supplement to AID me in my weight loss goal…..what will burn this fat and speed my metabolism up.
Oh guess I forget to make this question a little more simply for the not to bright who like to express their opionion. I am 6 ft. tall and 200,and yes I am aware that this is overweight & this is WHY I am trying to lose this weight….you see 190 is what you would call a short term goal and a healthy BMI is my long term goal. Yes,I am aware that in order to KEEP the weight off I need to lose in gradually O.K. I would not have posted THIS question if I wasn’t over weight,and please only intelligent answers.

I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy.
1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.
2) Why do I want to achieve this goal? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)
3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years?
6) Then when do I want to take action?
Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinners
If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class…

your still fat at 190 so it doesnt really matter

It’s not rocket science, diet and exercise is the only way you you are going to lose weight. At 190 lbs you are obese and need to lose more then 10 lbs. to be healthy. You need to be a lot more active. 2,000 calories is a lot of food if you eat the right foods.

Sounds like you just need to kick start your metabolism. Try eating five or six times a day rather than two or three. But make the meals much smaller and make sure they are healthy. Or you could just try cutting down your portions and eating more fruits and veggies. There are also several different supplements that can assist you with weight loss.
